I "get" the symbols for reading and writing, but am puzzled by the genie lamp. [The Lamp of Learning - once lighted, may it burn forever. Mr. D]

There were a lot of pictures of people drawing on the floor in the dark..I have no recollection of this.

Jason and Krissy seem to be having a good time. Sandra and Melanie...less so.

I refuse to believe Chris, Shane and Nathan are this happy about anything art-related. My guess is that something fart-related or spitball-related just happened.

And finally, there were lots of pictures of the staff vs. Grade 8 softball game. Let's see...I'm sporting 1) a perm 2) tight track pants and 3) a tucked in T-Shirt. (Insert your own "3 Strikes" joke here). Miss Beaton appears to have gotten a hit though...well done.
